Digital Electronics (To be submitted on Wednesday 28th May 2014)
1. Using any simulation tool of your choice,
Design a mod-13 counter using commercial J-K flip flops. The output should be monitored with four LED's as well as 7- segment display
2. Design a Combinational logic system to raise an alarm under the following conditions
A car ignition system is designed to trigger an alarm when ever any of the following events occur
- Ignition is on while the door is open
- the key is in the Ignition while the Engine is off and the door is open
- Engine is on, and seat-belt is not engaged
Electronic Devices and Circuits (To be submitted on 6th June 2014. (Exam date))
1. Design a voltage regulator that is capable of supplying a constant output voltage of 24 Volts DC from a 220 Volts AC. Using an active pi filter circuit.
2. Design an L filter voltage regulator with multiple output voltages of 9volts, 12 volts and 15 volts respectively.
3. Explain with necessary circuits and diagrams the principle of operation of an automatic power inverter..
